This 2010 Holden HSV Clubsport GXP sedan is a rare and fun HSV that is being offered for sale at NO RESERVE. The Commodore is an Aussie muscle car icon and the GXP version was a limited edition model pitched as the entry level variant into the high performance HSV range. The GXP was considered to be a bit of a sleeper compared to its R8 counterpart because it got all the performance gear but didn’t get all of the external styling.

This example was built in April of 2010 and is finished in Heron White. The front end of the GXP was very similar to the E2 R8’s with the same bumper, guards and bonnet but the rear end was more similar to an SS with normal style tail lights, side skirt and rear bumper. The car is mostly standard on the outside but has tinted windows and sits down low thanks to King springs over a set of 20” VF GTSR replica gloss black wheels.

Inside the seats are the factory items which a nicely bolstered buckets trimmed in a mix of suede and cloth. The usual HSV appointments are in place with air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, cruise control and remote central locking. The factory stereo system remains in place but has been upgraded with a Sony X-plod amplified powering two 12” MTX subwoofers in the boot.

Under the bonnet is a 6.0L LS3 V8 engine that HSV rates at 317kw and 550Nm of Torque from the factory. The engine is paired to a six speed manual transmission. The factory fully-independent Linear control HSV suspension, stability and traction control, and limited-slip differential all remain in place. The brakes are factory Brembos and this car is fitted with an awesome sounding aftermarket exhaust system that hugely adds to the driving experience.

The car has travelled 158,277 km from new and the sale of the car includes the original books. This car is being offered at NO RESERVE and will sell to the highest bidder at the end of the auction.
