This 1975 Ford Falcon left the factory as a Y code 302ci Cleveland V8 car with B code T-Bar Cruisomatic automatic transmission, finished in V code Apollo Blue metallic, with W code White interior. The car has been through an extensive restoration at some point and is extremely well presented. The body of the car has been stripped back and professionally repainted to a high standard in the original Apollo Blue Metallic. The car bears all of the correct GS items externally including, grille, spot lights, vented bonnet, bonnet pins and GS side stripe. The car sits over a set of 12 slot wheels with GS centre caps and red striped tyres.
The interior of the car has also been refurbished back to factory specs. Again, the correct GS items are in place including GS steering wheel, GS dash with extra instrumentation and console. The carpets on the floor are all new and the headliner has been replaced. The seats and door card have been refurbished in the original white colour.
Under the bonnet now lives a 351ci V8 engine that has been dressed down to look just like the original 302. The presentation in the engine bay is very impressive with all new nuts and bolts used, correct decals and factory delivery markings in place. The engine is paired to a three-speed automatic transmission as it was from the factory. The car sits down lower than factory thanks to lowered springs with the bushes, ball joints and shocks all replaced. The brakes are fully refurbished factory items front and rear.
This is the chance to own a factory V8 XB GS sedan that has been restored to a high standard in a desirable factory colour combination. With all of the GT replica’s out there today, it’s cool to see something different and just as nice.
