This 1970 Chevy K10 4×4 Pick up has been neatly restored and tastefully modified. This truck was actually bought by Benny (Owner of seven82motors) back in 2012 after a trip to SEMA in America. The truck has received a full restoration and was nicely painted inside, outside, and underneath and at the time had only travelled 8,700 miles since resto. It was imported back to Australia and registered and used here by Benny for a while here in Queensland before being sold it to a high-end customer in NSW that owns a large property. A few years later, the truck came back to us to be sold again and we sold it to another customer down in Melbourne. He also enjoyed the truck for a few years before it changed hands through us again… Now, 10 years on since it was first imported, and we are more than happy to have her back with us again.

These 4×4 trucks are a rare commodity here in Australia and they almost never present themselves in this condition. The paint and panel are very nice and well above average with having had a professional restoration prior purchasing it in 2012, all panels and the tray were painted separately and the doors were stripped to shells before the truck was reassembled with all new body rubbers. While the truck presents extremely well, it should be noted that there is a small chip and dent in the driver’s side of the tray and a small rust spot in the bottom front of each door. They are very hard to notice and have been there as long as we have known the truck without getting worse but worth noting as you may not pick them up in the photos. There are also a few stone chips in the lowers from the big tyres throwing rocks around. The seals and weather stripping were placed in the resto along with a host of new cosmetic parts fitted including the front and rear bumpers, grill assembly, all badges and emblems, turn signals and lens. The windscreen and side glass were replaced but the rear glass is good and original. The bed of the tray has been sprayed in a professional bed liner so it’s very usable as a truck, haul whatever you want and just wash it out. There is also a clip-on tonneau cover for weather protection. Some aftermarket accessories include a tow bar on the front and two LED light bars hidden behind the front grille.

Inside the truck has been given a retrim using Tan vinyl in a CST style factory pattern. There is a bench seat up front with seating for three people. Creature comforts inside include automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front and rear cameras and aftermarket ‘Vintage Air’ air conditioning. The gear stick on the floor is to select between high range, low range and 4×4 modes. The underside of the roof and door frame surrounds are all nicely painted to match the outside.

Under the bonnet is a 350ci small block Chevy V8 paired to a column shifted automatic transmission.
We weren’t provided with any receipts for the driveline when we first purchased it but everything looked like it had been rebuilt at the same time with the motor block and heads, transmission, transfer case where all being painted separately which tells us it’s been apart and put back together. The suspension was also near new at the time. The truck sits on a set of 15” Polished Alcoa wheels with Hankook All Terrain 33” tyres.

The odometer on the truck now reads 22,156 miles and given that when we first found it 10 years ago, it had 8,700 miles, that’s not a lot of wear and tear over the last 10 years. It’s a rare truck and a great truck, as good as you’d hope to find one and one we are sure the new owner will enjoy for many years… This truck has always been popular and this time she goes under the hammer.
