This 1971 Holden HG GTS Monaro has been through a recent restoration with some upgrades. The car left the factory in 1971 as a 186S HG GTS Monaro in Silver Mist. The car was restored and modified by a gent in Melbourne. The car was stripped back to a bare shell and received the usual rust repairs required with new floors, beaver panel and quarters being put on the car. Once the body was repaired, the car was repainted in Silver Mink and received the correct style GTS Black outs applied. The car sits over a set of original style wheels and hubcaps with red striped tyres. Inside the car was given a freshen up with a new Winners interior kit in 10x Black. The carpets were replaced along with the door trims and headliner.

Under the bonnet now lives a 350ci V8 crate engine sourced from Eagle Auto. The engine is paired to a T5, 5 speed manual transmission using a Rod Shop conversion for better driveability. Feeding power to the rear wheels is the factory LSD diff with 3.36 ratio. The brakes have all been refurbished or replaced during the restoration. Since the car was completed it has only travelled 1,500kms.
