1968 Dodge Charger

This 1968 Dodge Charger has been extensively modified into a tough street car. The car is presented in Dark green metallic, although in many lights you could easily mistake it for being black. The chrome has been refinished and the car is fitted with a front spoiler along with R/T badging and rear stripe. The Charger sits lowered over on a set of Boyd Coddington billet wheels measuring 20×9” up front and 20×13” in the back.
Inside, the car maintains its original style dark green interior trim. There is a aftermarket Mopar Performance Tacho mounted on the steering column and a pair of gauges mounted under the dash to monitor water and trans temps. There is a fire extinguished mounted under the dash on the passenger side and the automatic transmission has a polished Hurst shifter sticking up through the console. The car is also fitted with power steering.
Poking its head up through the bonnet is a big block 500ci Mopar V8 stroker with a 6-71 ‘Newby’ supercharger bolted to the top of it. Feeding the blower is a pair or 750 double pumper carburettors topped with a polished air intake scoop. Spark is provided by an MSD Blaster coil and distributer. Keeping everything cool is a polished alloy radiator by Wizard Cooling with twin thermo fans. The engine is neatly polished and detailed with lots of braided fittings and lines. The engine is paired to a 727 Automatic transmission with reverse pattern and Hurst shifter. The brakes have been upgraded to include a Wilwood Master cylinder and Wilwood discs on all four corners. Feeding power to the rear wheels is a 9” diff with 3.55:1 gears. These B-Body Chargers are always popular cars, make sure you register and bid to avoid disappointment.
