1967 CHEVY CAMARO COUPE

This 1967 Chevy Camaro has been fully restored and tastefully modified into a neat street car.
The body of the car is very well presented and has been stripped back and fully repainted in metallic Gunmetal Grey with a new black vinyl roof fitted. The car has all the correct SS fittings including a metallic black SS stripe, SS grille, SS hood louvers and SS fuel cap. The external chrome and bright work have all been refinished or replaced including the door handles, mirrors, wheel arch moulds, tail light surrounds and front and rear bumpers. The external look is completed with a set of old school 15” satin Centreline Auto Drag wheels.
Inside the car has again been refinished and features the option deluxe style interior. The carpets were replaced as was the headliner. The bucket seats have been recovered in the original style black trim with white stripe. The deluxe moulded door trims were also replaced with new items. The original style steering wheel remains in place and there is an optional centre console. To hint that under the bonnet isn’t factory there is an Autometer monster tacho and three additional gauges mounted under the dash as well as a B&M quick shifter in the centre console. For tunes while driving there is a Sony stereo system fitted. The boot of the car is neatly fitted out with the original style mat.
Lift the bonnet and you will find a warm 350ci V8 engine. The engine has been upgraded with a polished high rise single plane manifold, electronic distributor and Holley carb. There are various braided lines and Speed Flow fittings used throughout. Letting exhaust gasses escape is a set of aftermarket headers with a custom twin exhaust. The engine is paired to a Turbo 350, three-speed automatic transmission and power is fed to the rear wheels through a 12 bolt diff. Pulling things up is a set of power assisted brakes with discs up front and drums on the rear. The car is also fitted with optional power steering.
This is a neat example of a fully restored, tastefully modified and well optioned first year Chevy Camaro. These Camaro’s are always popular cars so be sure to register and bid if you want to see this one parked in your garage.
