This 1955 Ford F100 Pick up has been through a full ground up custom rebuild into a tough street truck. The truck was imported from the US in 2012 with the current owners taking possession in August 2013. The truck was in driver quality condition which is how it remained for the next 3 years before making the decision to pull it off the road in 2016 for a full rebuild.

The truck was sent to Parker’s body shop where the body was completely stripped of all its paintwork with all necessary panels replaced with new ones. The truck received a new bonnet, tub, guards, doors, and side steps before being completely repainted in Jet Black. It also received a new smooth gravel pan to replace the front bumper and deleted bumper and tailgate chains in the rear. The ends of the tub side have also been filled and smoothed. The truck has a high level of finish and has also been ceramic coated to keep it looking good for years to come. The inside of the tub has been painted gloss black to match this outside with neat wheel tubs and gloss finished timber with chrome strips on the bed floor. The look externally is finished off with a set of American Legend wheels with Pirelli tyres.

Inside the interior also received a full make over by Sewfine Upholstery. The trim is completely custom and utilises, leather, suede, and custom red diamond stitching throughout. The front seats are now bucket seats with diamond stitch inserts split by a custom centre console with integrated storage and cup holders. The full door trims have been covered and stitched to match. The dash which is normally just painted on these trucks has been neatly covered in leather with neat red stitching details. There is a full set of Dolphin gauges in a polished surround as well as a tilt column and billet steering wheel. There is a lower dash panel to neatly integrate the air condition vents that keep inside the cabin comfortable. Behind the seats is all trimmed out with a full-length head liner and lap sash seat belts fitted. On the floor is all new carpets with a Lokar automatic shifter and handbrake.

Lift the bonnet and you will reveal a 351ci Windsor V8 engine that has been built, balanced and stroked to 408ci. The engine build features a Scat crank, I beam rods, Clevite bearings, aluminium heads, Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam and roller rockers. The engine is paired to a three-speed automatic transmission that has been built with manual valve bodies. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a Strange 9-inch diff with fabricated housing. The factory chassis has been significantly upgraded with tubular bracing throughout. The front end has been converted to a Mustang II item with tubular A-arms, adjustable coil overs and rack and pinion power steering. The rear end has been converted to a triangulated four-link with adjustable coil overs. Braking has been upgraded to include a Wilwood master cylinder with Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. There is a new fuel cell under the rear with custom filler mounted to the inside corner of the tub.

Since completion in 2019, the truck has only travelled approximately 1000 kms. These early F100’s are always extremely popular and have proven to be a sound investment.
