This 1955 Holden FJ Special sedan comes to us from a collector who purchased the car as part of a 3 car package from a deceased estate. The car was located in Bangor in Sydney and has been through an older restoration. These early Holdens have certainly grown in value over the last few years with Holden shutting down and collectors wanting a slice of the action. This particular example is the top of the line Special trim level which offered a number of upgrades over the base cars. The car also has lots of great accessories that include a Nasco style sun visor, door handle scratch guards, port holes down the bonnet, dual external mirrors, stainless belt moulding, rear mudflaps, and wheel dress rings with white wall tyres. The car retains the original style 132ci Holden Grey 6 cyl engine paired to a 3 speed column shifted transmission. The FJ still runs its original 6 volt electrical system and has an original 6 volt radio mounted in the dash. Ā It has been fitted with indicators front and rear for safety. These early Holdens are great collector quality classic cars and good examples like this are becoming harder to find. This car is being offered at NO RESERVE!
