The owner of this 1966 Mustang coupe turned up needing someone to finish the body work on his coupe after two failed attempts elsewhere… The body had its quarters bare metaled and left exposed and needed sections sandblasted to get back to some fresh metal, Mr Restoration took on the job. The rust was removed and the car put in primer to come to us at 782 to mock the new rack and pinion front, 4 link rear and strut front end… then it was broken back down and sent back to Mr Restoration panel and paint to be blocked ready to be shot in the customers chosen colour, custom metallic purple with pearl in this case, then it was back to SEVEN82MOTORS for final assembly and an EFI conversion… This car was not a ground up restoration and we had to re-use some parts to fit in with our client’s budget but he sure got himself a cool car.
