1969 Ford Mach1 Mustang Fastback for sale

You are looking at a fantastic example of a professionally restored 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 fastback. This car underwent a full nut and bolt restoration in 2011 to original specifications with great attention to detail in all areas. The car is a rare original Ford colour named Indian Fire Red and looks great against the factory Mach 1 black outs. The car was imported by us on behalf of a good client in 2014 and has been well known to us ever since. It has been well looked after by collectors and sparingly used to keep it in fantastic condition. The paintwork and body on the car are in fantastic condition all round. You can instantly tell the paint was professionally done with the door jams and apertures all neatly finished. The chrome was also refinished during the restoration and shines brightly, looking great against the paintwork. Likewise the glass, rubbers and finishing parts are all in good condition. The car sits nicely over a set of factory style Mach 1 wheels.

Lift the blacked out and scoop’d hood and you will find the factory correct 351ci Windsor V8. As one of the most popular small blocks ever created, the respected 351W is covered in the famous FoMoCo blue and looks fantastic front and center in the factory style flat black engine bay. At the top of the engine, a big 4-barrel carburettor hides under a correct single-snorkel air cleaner that wears fresh paint and new 351-4v decals. The engine is paired with a 3 speed FMX Automatic transmission which sends drive to the rear wheels via the ever dependable Ford 9” diff.

Grab the door handle, pull the door open and things are just as nice inside. The black trim has all been redone to factory and the woodgrain style factory dash, door trims and console are all in fantastic condition. While owning a badass muscle car is always fun, the driving experience is much nicer when they include some creature comforts. Included with this example is power steering, power brakes and even air conditioning! Underneath the car is extremely tidy having been given as much attention as the top side during the restoration.

We strongly believe that quality is everything when it comes to classic cars and this example is absolutely no compromise in that area. This would be a great blue chip investment style muscle car for someone to park in their garage and enjoy on the weekends.
