This 2004 Holden Monaro CV8-R is one of only 320 produced in a limited run by Holden. The modern Monaro coupes have certainly become popular with collectors over the last decade and good examples can be highly desirable. This one is a bit unique being a limited production run and is being offered at NO RESERVE and will sell to the highest bidder come end of the auction.

The body of the car is finished in its original colour of Pulse Red which was the only colour available on the CV8-R cars. Another feature of the CV8-R cars was the Holden By Design electric sunroof as standard. The front and rear lights used ‘Silver Vision’ globes with black bezels front and rear. Exterior badges were finished in black rather than chrome. The car retains its original CV8-R five spoke 18” machine face alloy wheels although it should be noted these do have some gutter rash present.

The interior of the car also remains true to its original presentation with black leather used throughout. The leather is in good condition with minor wear present on the drivers bolster. Creature comforts include climate control, cruise control, power seats and power windows. The original stereo system remains in place with Bluetooth phone connectivity. The instrument surrounds and centre facia are finished in satin Pulse Red as was standard on the CV8-Rs.

Under the bonnet is a 5.7L LS1 V8 engine paired to a four speed automatic transmission. The suspension and brakes are all as per factory spec and remain unmodified. The sale of the car come complete with its original log books showing a full service history. While it has always been looked after, the car hasn’t sat still in a showroom somewhere, instead being driven and used how it was intended with the odometer displaying 306,000kms from new.

These modern Monaros have proven to be popular with collectors in recent years and this one is a limited production version. The car is being offered at NO RESERVE and will sell to the highest bidder come end of the auction.
