This 1999 HSV SV99 Commodore is a collector quality example of a rare and limited production HSV. The SV99 was released by HSV to celebrate its partnership with the Sydney 2000 Olympics. It was limited to just 99 units all of which were finished in Hackett Gold (names after Olympic Gold medallist Grant Hackett). The cars could be ordered in either an automatic or manual transmission. This car is build number 50 of the 99 produced and is one of only 27 spec’d with the manual transmission. The car remains in factory original condition and has actually been in storage since 2013 only recently coming out of its hibernation with a fresh service ready for use.

The body of the car is finished in its original Hackett Gold paintwork in good condition. The original full HSV bodykit remains in place including rear spoiler. Likewise, the car sits on its factory 18” HSV Grange style wheels with matching full size spare wheel.

Inside the car is all factory without any modifications. The HSV Coulson seats are trimmed in a special Mustard coloured leather with SV99 embossed into them front and rear. On the centre console there is a SV99 badge with build number and Olympic partner badge which covers the original HSV tool kit with tyre pressure gauge, pocket knife and torch. The car features optional navigation with 10 disc CD stacker in the boot and HSV remote. Factory creature comforts include air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, auto head lights and central locking.

Under the bonnet lives the factory 5.7L LS1 V8 engine. The engine is paired with a six speed manual transmission. Power is fed to the rear wheels through the factory limited slip differential. Pulling things up are factory HSV premium ABS brakes and the suspension is all factory with IRS rear end. The car has only travelled 134,846kms from new.
