This 1930 Model A 5 window coupe hot rod is a neat little custom cruiser. The car is built on a custom chassis with Rods Bods 5 window body sitting on top. The car is set up in a period custom configuration with cycle guards replacing the full fenders. The body and chassis have been painted in a metallic sunburnt orange colour which extends to the undercarriage of the car. Externally the car features a 32 Ford grille, chrome V front spreader bar, bullet style tail lights and an open engine bay. Finishing off the external look is a set of polished Halibrand wheels with wide white wall radial tyres in an old school ‘big and little’ configuration.

Inside the rod has received a full custom trim with a pair of bolstered bucket seats. The dash features VDO gauges in a billet surround. Front and centre is a billet banjo style steering wheel. Some luxurious creature comforts include power windows and air conditioning. The boot is neatly decked out and houses a new stainless fuel cell

The rod is powered by a 350ci small block Chevy V8 engine. The engine build features a host of Edelbrock upgrades including electronic ignition, carburettor with electric choke, Performer RPM intake and heads. The engine bay is neat and tidy with lots of chrome. The engine is paired to a 700R four-speed automatic transmission with Lokar shifter. Keeping everything cool is a new alloy radiator with thermo fan. Front suspension is a four link setup with I beam axle, rack and pinion steering, So Cal shocks and disc brakes. The rear suspension is a four link with coil overs. The car has been certified under LH10 which is full hot rod registration for QLD. A neat and well built little hot rod all round.
