HIGHLIGHTS: – Genuine Group 3 SS “White Pointer” – One of only 200 built – Full Group 3 bodykit – Rebuilt matching numbers 4.9L V8 engine – Four speed manual transmission – Factory 16” HDT Aero wheels – Scheel interior with factory air – Large receipt file and known owner history – Original log books and HDT Authentication letter

This 1985 Holden HDT SS Group 3 Brock Commodore was sold new through Jock Nielsen Holden in Nambour on the 18th of June, 1986. The car has been a QLD car its whole life changing hands a few times before being purchased by the current owner in April of 2010.

The body of the car is well presented in factory presentation. The car received a closed door respray using 2 pac in its original colour of Alpine White back in 2005. The iconic Brock styling includes HDT grille, front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, rear spoiler along with HDT badging and decals. The headlights are stamped Holden items covered by HDT protectors with new rubber eyebrows in place. Naturally, the car sits over a set of 16” HDT aero wheels.

Inside the interior appears to be as per factory specification. The inside features Cerelian Blue cloth interior & Scheel front seats. The dash retains the original style Peter Brock branded cassette radio with Eurovox equaliser mounted below and Eurovox speaker covers on the rear parcel shelf. Creature comforts inside include power steering and air conditioning.

Under the bonnet is the original, matching number 4.9L V8 engine which was fully rebuilt in May of 2004. The receipt for the engine build is with the paperwork and notes the specific engine number. The engine bay is very well presented in a factory style. All four of the original tags remain in place on the car. Exhaust gasses escape through Pacemaker headers into a custom exhaust.

The car has travelled 191,792 kms from new and approximately 17,000 kms since the engine rebuild. The car comes with a large documentation file that includes the original log books, ownership history and a bunch of receipts compiled over the years. These VK Brock SS Group 3 “White Pointer” Commodore’s are great investment style Aussie Muscle cars with only 200 said to be built and this is a neat and well documented example.
