This is 1977 Ford Falcon XC Panel Van has been built to be driven and used. The van has been through extensive restoration with the paint and body being redone in approximately 2013. The Burgundy colour scheme compliments the lines of the van which was factory fitted with ‘barn doors’ rather than the tailgate option. The Gold GS stripe provides a nice contrast and ties in with the period 17” gold mesh wheels.
Inside the van has been neatly decked out with custom tan vinyl with contrasting burgundy piping and stitching. The door trims, centre console and front seats have all been trimmed up front and there are custom side panels to match through the back. The cabin feels open and airy thanks to a large sunroof up front. Creature comforts include air conditioning and a touch screen stereo system with reverse camera. There is an aftermarket steering wheel front and centre and aftermarket gauges neatly sunk into the factory style dash to keep an eye on what’s happening under the vented bonnet.
The van has been converted to run a 351ci V8 engine that has been fully rebuilt and includes a mild cam, aluminium heads, upgraded inlet manifold, MSD ignition and new carburettor. The previous owner ran the car on a dyno to fine tune it where it made a respectable made 330hp at the rear wheels. It also has a chrome rocker covers and a serpentine belt pulley kit on the front of the engine for a super clean look. Dual electric thermo fans help keep everything cool. The engine is paired to an C4 automatic transmission with shift kit. The diff under the rear received a new centre with 3.55 diff gears.
