1968 Chevrolet C20 Longhorn pick up

This 1968 Chevy C20 Longhorn pick up has been fully restored with some neat upgrades and tasteful modifications. These early Chevy pick ups are always popular and good examples like this one are hard to find.
Starting with the body, the outside of the car has been professionally repainted in straight gloss black. The front badges have been shaved as have the stake pockets shaved off the bed. The gloss paintwork extends to the inside of the tub with the base covered in black carpet with stainless dividing strips. The chrome on the car has all been either refinished or replaced. To complete the look, the truck sits on a set of 22” chrome Foose wheels wrapped in Toyo tyres.
Inside the cab has been refinished to match the exterior. The bench seat has been redone in a two tone black vinyl and leather with all new carpets on the floor. There are lap belts fitted for safety and a slide open rear window. Front and centre is a billet steering wheel and column auto shifter. The door handles and gear knob are custom billet items. The truck is very well equipped with power windows, air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. For tunes while cruising there is a Kenwood stereo system hidden in the glovebox.
Under the bonnet is a 327ci V8 engine which has been upgraded with an Edelbrock RPM Performer intake and Holley performance carburettor. The engine is paired to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and power is fed to the rear wheels through the factory diff. The suspension has been lowered and there is power assisted drum brakes all round.
This 1968 Chevy C20 pick up is an awesome looking truck that is jamb packed full of features and upgrades. Being a Longhorn, there is plenty of room in the tub to carry your things, even large motorcycles. Nice trucks like this don’t come up very often and this one is very well presented and loaded with great features.
