1967 RHD FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK

This 1967 RHD Ford Mustang Fastback has been tastefully upgraded into a neat classic cruiser. The 67 Fastback has always been one of the most popular body styles for classic Mustangs. This car has some great upgrades that improve the driveability of an American classic.
The car was purchased by the current owner in 2018 with most of the upgrades completed by the previous owner. The body of the car remains true to factory having been repainted in Wimbledon White. The front grille features GT style spotlights and the car sits over a set of 17” Speedy chrome wheels. The interior of the car has been refinished in a two-tone blue vinyl. The first thing you will notice is the car has been converted to right hand drive. The dash flows into a centre console that splits the front bucket seats and houses the four-speed manual shifter. Seat belts have been added for safety and there is a small stereo system with 3.5mm jack audio input.
Under the bonnet of the car lives a 302ci small block V8 engine that features an Edelbrock Performer intake and Holley Carburettor. Spark is provided by an MSD Blaster High Voltage Coil through to an MSD distributer. Exhaust gasses are expelled through Pacemaker headers into a dual exhaust system. Keeping things cool is a new alloy radiator with twin thermos fans. The engine is paired to a four-speed manual transmission and power is fed to the rear wheels through a nine inch diff.
Under the car there are a host of handling upgrades provided by RRS. The front end has been converted to RRS Coilovers with RRS A-Arms. Steering is handled by a power assisted RRS Rack and pinion upgrade. The rear end didn’t miss out either with an RRS three link setup again with adjustable coil overs. Braking is upgraded to a power assisted four-wheel disc setup.
1967 Fastback Mustang’s are always popular cars when we get them here in the showroom and this example being RHD with a host of driveability upgrades should certainly grab some attention.
