1966 FORD MUSTANG A CODE COUPE

This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe has been fully restored and tastefully upgraded inside and out. The car was imported from California back in 2012 before undergoing a full restoration by the previous owner. The resto was completed in 2017 and purchased by the current owner not long after.
The body of the car was stripped back and professionally repainted to a high level in Silver Blue metallic. The car features lots of GT options on the outside including GT spotlights, GT badges and stripes, GT rear valance and GT fuel cap. All of the chrome on the outside of the car was refinished or replaced. To complete the look, the car sits lowered over a set of 15” Weld Prostar wheels.
Inside the car has been completely refinished to a factory level in two tone blue. The carpets on the floor have all been replaced. Between the front bucket seats there is a floor mounted automatic shifter. Creature comforts include power steering and power brakes with discs up front.
Pop the bonnet and you will find an extremely well presented engine bay with all of the inner guards and firewall painted in body colour rather than just black like they were from factory. In the centre is an A code, 289ci V8 that was rebuilt during the resto and upgraded with RPM Performer intake and Holley carb. The engine is paired to the factory T-bar automatic and power is fed to the rear wheels through the factory diff.
Since the restoration was completed, the car has been lovingly cared for and only travelled 1,000 kms in the last six years. These first generation Mustang coupes are always popular cars and this one is very well restored with a bunch of great features, options and upgrades.
