This 1932 Ford Roadster is an all new ground up build into a custom street rod. The build of the car began back in 2017 with the final inspection completed in May of 2022.

The body of the car is a C&W Components 32 Ford Roadster body which has been finished in True Red. The body follows a classic street rod style with 32 grille shell, exposed engine bay and full guards. The exterior door handles are deleted and there are clear ’39 style LED tear drop tail lights on the rear. The front spreader bar is a V style with integrated LED indicators and there are modern rear view mirrors. The car sits slammed down low over a set of Billet Specialties wheels measuring 17×7” up front and 18×8” in the rear.

The interior of the car has been treated to a full custom trim in distressed tan. Seating is provided by two bucket seats and there is a custom centre console to house the Lokar shifter and a pair of cup holders. The floors are covered in German Square weave style carpets. Front and centre is a chrome tilt steering column holding a billet steering wheel. The dash has a billet surround filled with a full set of Classic Instruments gauges. The boot has been panelled out and trimmed to match the interior.

Powering the rod is a 350ci Chevy V8 engine that has been built using alloy heads, and Edelbrock RPM Performer intake and an Edelbrock carburettor. The engine is neatly detailed with the block painted red to match the car and chrome valve covers, intake, carb and scoop. On the front there is a Gilmer belt drive setup and exhaust gasses escape through aftermarket headers into a custom stainless dual exhaust system. The engine is paired to a Turbo 350, three speed automatic transmission with Lokar floor shifter. Power is fed to the rear wheels through a Ford nine inch diff.

The chassis is a C&W Components item with tubular bracing and has been painted red to match the exterior. The front end uses a 4” dropped Superbell polished I-beam setup with transfer leaf springs and SoCal shocks. The rear suspension is a four-link setup with polished arms and adjustable coil overs. The brakes features an under floor power booster and dual master cylinder feeding four wheel discs. The underside of the car is neatly detailed with the underside of the floor, chassis, diff and various components painted body colour.

Since completion in 2022 the car has only travelled approximately 1,200kms. The rod is plated in QLD as LH10 for full hot rod registration.
