1962 Chevy Biscayne… 21111L170098 vin with a QB 409 dual quad 425hp W-Big Block and a 4 speed manual trans and Hurst shift just like the Chevy Gods should have made them all. The Biscayne is the base model Chevy and easily recognised by the twin taillights, not the triple and that pillar post always screams “make me a race car”… and often where including 18, 409 cars with aluminium front sheet metal for racing. Sure you got your Impala’s and SS variants but the 409 cars where often optioned with no frills and just a high horse power drive line like this set up with no chrome and no options and were often the kings of the drag strip or the midnight racers… this car is a factory 920 Autumn Gold with 860 Fawn trim, Los Angeles built and lived and very solid in the body and floors.
Not very often i get one of these cross the table and the few i have had were in the 55-65k range back a few years ago when the dollar was better and things were different. This is a bad arse car and priced for a quick sale.
