Lets start back in 2015 when the phone rings a guy called Luke rings me and says he wants a pick up truck. He tells me a bit about what he wants and we go over a few options as we have a couple in stock and another project truck on the market. I ask Luke to send me some images of the trucks he likes and he actually dose and we keep communicating and dialing in what he needs and we go about finding him some options.

He wanted a two tone truck, clean classic style but with a modern drive line…

A few examples where found and it was all dialed in a bit further until he found a baby blue truck he wanted to own… I could see it wasn’t quite the rite platform and had found this black and silver Raiders truck in East L.A as a private sale and it was ticking the boxes.

The owner was Mexican and not a great communicator on the phone… A bit of a chat with Luke and with a few other things to do in America a deal was done for us to fly over and go deal with this truck and make sure it was want we wanted and a safe money transfer ect was dealt with.

So we arrive in L.A and head out to meet our seller and he’s super nice, he has a mobile phone from about the 1970’s so it all makes sense why he’s not so good at communicating and sending pictures but he couldn’t be more helpful and the whole deal is really cool.
